PurposeA Kat’s Eye Supervised Visitation Service
Supervised Visitation facilitates healthy child/parent relationships
What is Supervised Visitation?
Supervised Visitation refers to children’s contact with a non-residential or non-custodial parent in the presence of a professional visitation supervisor. Visitation Supervisors are responsible for observing the interactions and ensuring the physical and emotional safety of your child.
What is Supervised Exchange?
Supervised Exchange is where a visitation supervisor is present while parents and/or caregivers meet to exchange children for visitation purposes.
To provide children with safe, conflict-free access to both parents, and keeping children away from the disputes of their parents or from other positions of risk. While children and their needs are the focus, there is a significant benefit from our services for both parents. Supervised Visitation should not come with negative connotations, but rather, be viewed as a tool to help families through difficult and sometimes transitional times.
We support each parent for a more positive experience with their child in these difficult periods of family development.
We may offer positive suggestions, sensitivity and other insights – as tools for consistent interactions that encourage developmentally appropriate practices.
Note: Supervised Visitation is not for displaced anger against the other parent, the court system, or the unfairness of your situation, or to explain your situation. We are not responsible for the fact that you are being asked to use a visitation service. We are here to provide an objective and neutral professional service.
